Job Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
Have previous experience in grocery, restaurant, or related field or combination of education and experience
Be dependable and reliable
Exhibit an outgoing and friendly demeanor
Possess a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
Have good communication skills
Ability to take direction and work within a team
Ability to answer phones and manage special orders
Be able to lift/carry product weighing up to 70 lbs
Able to stand continuously for up to 4 hours and a total of 8 hours per shift
Perform housekeeping duties including cleaning and sanitation
Operate slicers and cooking equipment
Adhere to safety, health, and regulatory standards
Achieve and maintain a Food Handlers permit
Able to work in cooler and freezer environments
Perform other related duties as assigned

Job Qualifications

Be at least 18 years of age
Have a high school diploma or equivalent or acceptable combination of education and experience
Experience working in grocery, restaurant, or related field
Dependable and reliable
Outgoing, friendly behavior with a positive attitude
Ability to interact well with customers
Good communication skills
Ability to work as part of a team and take direction
Ability to answer phones and take special orders
Ability to lift/carry up to 70 lbs
Able to stand for up to 8 hours per shift
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
Ability to operate deli equipment
Food Handlers permit or ability to achieve one
Able to work in varying temperature environments including cooler and freezer

Job Duties

Prepare fresh and easy meals for customers
Arrange vegetables and sliced meats for made-to-order sandwiches
Assist customers with catering orders
Maintain food safety standards and proper sanitation
Operate slicers, wrapping, and cooking equipment safely
Keep the deli department clean and organized
Provide friendly and knowledgeable customer service
