We are currently seeking a part-time Deli Clerk to join our dedicated Deli team. This role is ideal for candidates eager to develop their skills in a fast-paced retail food environment. The position focuses primarily on delivering exceptional customer service by fostering a fun and inviting atmosphere where guests feel welcomed and appreciated. The Deli Clerk role involves various tasks such as slicing, weighing, packaging, and labeling meat and cheese products, preparing salads, and serving guests through the hot food case when available. Maintaining product areas in a neat, visually appealing state and ensuring consistent stock levels are critical parts of the role. Additionally, the position requires preparing meat and cheese trays, veggie trays, and other deli specialty items for sale. Adherence to food safety protocols, health, safety, and sanitation guidelines is mandatory to protect both employees and customers. In some cases, additional responsibilities may include washing dishes, mixing ingredients, assembling catering orders, and baking or frying deli products. Coborn's will provide all necessary training, so no prior deli experience is required, just a positive attitude and a willingness to learn. The pay range for this part-time position is between $15.25 and $20.00 per hour.
