  • Ability to stand and move frequently on hard surfaces
  • Capability to lift objects up to 30 pounds frequently
  • Ability to lift and move heavier objects with assistance
  • Ability to work in varying temperature environments including freezers and ovens
  • Commitment to club policies and procedures
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Regular and predictable attendance

Job Qualifications

  • Work experience in a deli department preferred
  • Prior experience operating manual or power slicers and scales preferred
  • Knowledge of deli products preferred
  • At least 18 years of age

Job Duties

  • Provide high level of customer service to members
  • Answer questions and recommend deli items
  • Slice, package, and weigh deli products including cheeses and meats
  • Take special orders and prepare party trays
  • Receive and inspect deli shipments
  • Display, stock, rotate, and store deli products following safety policies
  • Ensure product freshness and quality standards
  • Clean and sanitize deli equipment and surfaces
  • Operate deli equipment in accordance with safety procedures
  • Maintain scale systems ensuring accurate pricing and weighing
  • Follow club policies and procedures
  • Work in other departments as assigned
  • Maintain regular, predictable attendance
