The position of Deli Bakery Associate at MDBS is a part-time role designed to engage team members in a variety of deli and bakery related duties at military commissaries. This role provides a unique chance to contribute directly to the service experience of military families by preparing and serving deli items, managing bakery duties, and maintaining the display and sanitation standards necessary for safe food handling. Ideal candidates are team players who thrive in fast-paced, dynamic settings and possess a strong work ethic paired with passion for food service excellence. The associate is directly involved in the day-to-day operational activities such as slicing deli meats and cheeses, creating custom party trays, sandwich preparation, and supporting inventory management including stock organization and shipment receiving. Additional bakery tasks like cake decorating, baking, and rotisserie chicken preparation may also be part of the role.
