Job Requirements

Must be 18 years of age
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without accommodation
Ability to stand and walk short distances for an entire shift
Tolerates working in freezers for up to 20 minutes at a time
Some weekend shifts are required

Job Qualifications

Must be 18 years of age
Willing to cross-train in bakery and deli tasks as needed
Effective and friendly communication skills
Knowledge of basic math and the ability to follow written guidelines
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without accommodation
Ability to stand and walk short distances for an entire shift
Tolerates working in freezers for up to 20 minutes at a time
Team player
Grocery, food service or retail experience a plus
Some weekend shifts are required

Job Duties

Maintain an atmosphere of enthusiastic customer service, teamwork with positive communication, and assist other team members as needed
Slice deli meats and cheeses to customer's request
Prepare custom party trays and make sandwiches accordingly
Stock and organize displays, including helping with shipments as needed
Ensure proper sanitation of the department, equipment, and proper food handling/preparation
Demonstrate the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle stressful situations
Perform additional tasks such as cake decorating, baking, rotisserie chicken preparation, or other deli/bakery tasks as needed
