Job Requirements

Must be 18 years of age
Experience in retail cake decorating
Willingness to cross-train in bakery and deli tasks as needed
Effective and friendly communication skills
Knowledge of basic math and ability to follow written guidelines
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without accommodation
Ability to stand and walk short distances for an entire shift
Tolerance for working in freezers for up to 20 minutes at a time
Team player

Job Duties

Decorate cakes in 15-20 minutes start to finish
Fill production cases and/or stock the floor or display tables with baked goods
Maintain an atmosphere of enthusiastic customer service and teamwork with positive communication
Assist other team members as needed
Ensure proper sanitation of the department, equipment, and proper food handling/preparation
Demonstrate the ability to work in fast-paced environments and handle stressful situations
