The role of Deli Food and Beverage Server at Peabody Hotels is a pivotal position within the food and beverage department, focused on delivering courteous and efficient service to guests. Job Requirements

Fluency in English both verbal and written
Provide legible communication and directions
Compute basic arithmetic
At least 1 year experience in a similar position dealing with the general public cash handling and basic food preparation
Minimum 18 years of age to serve alcoholic beverages
Ability to focus attention on guest needs remaining calm and courteous
Ability to promote positive relations with individuals who approach the restaurant and make telephone contact
Ability to think clearly quickly maintain concentration and make concise decisions in pressure situations

Job Duties

Courteously greet and serve food and beverages to guests according to hotel standards
Assist in preparing the deli for service and maintain cleanliness of the room
Take food and beverage orders and serve them efficiently and courteously
Receive and process all payment methods for deli guest checks
Settle guest checks in the computer system and maintain financial accountabilities
Plan, prepare, set-up and provide quality service in the deli area for to-go menu items
Maintain organization, cleanliness, and sanitation of work area and equipment
Assist in the maintenance of the deli area and equipment
