We are currently seeking a diligent and courteous Deli food and beverage server to join our food service team. This role involves greeting guests warmly and efficiently taking their food and beverage orders, ensuring all requests are handled with professionalism and according to our established hotel standards. The position also includes responsibilities such as preparing the Deli area for service, maintaining cleanliness, assisting with food production for to-go menu items, and managing financial transactions related to guest orders. The ideal candidate will be attentive, organized, and capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment while maintaining the highest standards of service quality. This is a vital role that supports the overall guest experience and contributes to the smooth operation of our food and beverage services.

Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Previous experience in food and beverage service
Ability to communicate effectively
Ability to operate a POS system
Knowledge of food safety practices
Capable of standing for extended periods
Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays

Job Qualifications

Previous experience in food and beverage service or related field
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Ability to operate point of sale (POS) systems
Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Job Duties

Courteously greet and serve food and beverages to guests ensuring hotel standards of service
Assist in preparing the Deli for service and maintain cleanliness of the room
Take food and beverage orders retrieve and serve beverages and food orders to guests according to hotel specifications courteously and efficiently
Receive and process all payment methods for Deli guest checks in accordance with hotel standards
Settle all guest checks in the computer system and maintain accountabilities for all financial transactions
Plan prepare set-up and provide quality service in Deli area of food production for to-go menu items
Maintain organization cleanliness and sanitation of work area and equipment
Assist in the maintenance of the Deli area and equipment
