Pilot Flying J, a notable brand within the Pilot network, is currently seeking an experienced Deli Assistant Manager to lead operations at its high-volume retail facilities. This role involves the oversight of all aspects related to the deli section including the management and development of the team to ensure exceptional customer satisfaction and achievement of financial goals. The Deli Assistant Manager will play a critical role in generating and executing business plans geared toward meeting established standards, increasing sales, and maximizing profitability. The position demands a flexible schedule as it requires working nights, days, weekends, and holidays to ensure smooth operation. The starting pay ranges from $55,700 to $80,735 annually, reflecting the importance of the role and the experience required.

Additional responsibilities include driving sales initiatives, managing and coaching team members, monitoring inventory levels, providing outstanding customer service, and performing profit and loss (P&L) analysis to track and improve financial performance. By taking charge of staffing, interviewing, hiring, and training processes, this leader will cultivate an empowered team capable of delivering a superior customer experience while maintaining operational efficiency.
