This full-time role follows a Monday through Friday schedule with 40 hours per week. Compensation ranges from $19.25 to $28.85 per hour and is determined based on skills, experience, and organizational considerations, with final salary established through the interview process according to pay equity and transparency laws.\n\nAs a Dealer Services Specialist, you will play a crucial role in supporting Lithia's extensive dealership network by managing licensing, compliance, dealership data updates, and regulatory requirements across multiple states. Your responsibilities include ensuring that corporate and dealership records are accurately maintained and compliant with all relevant state and local automotive franchise laws. This role demands a highly collaborative approach, requiring you to work closely with internal teams, external vendors, and partners to guarantee efficient and precise completion of Dealer Services processes. Taking on this position means being proactive in researching and interpreting regulatory changes to reduce compliance risks, managing comprehensive licensing databases, and assisting in dealership operational updates. You will also be responsible for coordinating insurance certificate orders and bond documentation necessary for licensing purposes while supporting cross-functional projects associated with dealership events such as acquisitions and divestitures. Job Duties
- Research and interpret state and local laws to ensure licensing compliance related to acquisitions, divestitures, relocations, entity changes, leadership updates, line/make changes, and other dealership events
- Manage a comprehensive licensing database and ensure renewals are submitted before expiration
- Monitor regulatory changes and proactively mitigate compliance risk
- Maintain accurate dealership data across centralized systems, including legal entities and DBAs
- Order and validate insurance certificates (COIs) and bond documentation required for licensing
- Support cross-functional projects tied to dealership events and operational updates
- Build relationships with third-party vendors and external partners throughout acquisition/divestiture processes
- File, organize, and maintain documentation in accordance with compliance standards
- Respond to dealership and internal leader inquiries regarding licensing, entity, and compliance matters
- Monitor and respond to the Dealer Services team hotline email
- Identify opportunities to improve and standardize processes for greater efficiency and accuracy
- Communicate with senior and executive leadership to support assigned initiatives
