We are currently seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Porter to join our team. This full-time role is key to maintaining the appearance and cleanliness of our multifamily apartment community, contributing significantly to the creation of a safe, welcoming environment for residents, guests, and staff. The Porter will be responsible for maintaining common areas such as hallways, stairwells, laundry rooms, clubhouses, and restrooms to high standards. They will also perform routine groundskeeping tasks including litter pickup, leaf removal, and light landscaping. Additional duties include collecting and removing trash, maintaining dumpster enclosures, and assisting with cleaning vacant apartments during unit turns. Monitoring the property for safety hazards and reporting any issues to management is a crucial part of this role. The Porter will also be responsible for snow approval and management, including salting services to ensure safe walkways during winter months. This position requires teamwork, as the Porter will assist the maintenance team with various tasks and ensure proper use and maintenance of supplies and equipment. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in property maintenance or similar role preferred
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting and outdoor work
- Reliable and punctual with strong work ethic
- Ability to follow safety protocols and report hazards
- Valid driver’s license is a plus
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends if needed
Job Qualifications
