The franchisee holds a license to use McDonald’s logos and food products while running the restaurant, but operates as an independent business entity responsible for all employment matters. This includes hiring, firing, discipline, supervision, staffing, and scheduling employees. McDonald’s USA has no authority or control in these employment processes, and will not have access to your employment application nor participate in any hiring decisions.
