As a Food Specialist, you will be responsible for preparing home-style, nutritious meals and snacks for children and staff members, adhering strictly to the menu guidelines established by the Director in compliance with USDA, licensing, and health department rules. You will also oversee inventory management, ensuring that foods and supplies are stocked adequately to meet daily demands. Additionally, adaptability and organization are key traits, as the role requires adjusting to menu changes and assisting classroom activities when needed, often functioning as an Assistant Teacher or Floater.
