Job Requirements
- must be 18 years of age
- must provide proof of u s citizenship or permanent residency
- must provide proof of work authorization and complete an i-9 and e-verify process
- must complete pre employment background check if applicable
- must complete pre employment drug screen if applicable
- must complete pre employment motor vehicle record check if applicable
- physically able to be on feet during entire shift walking bending stooping twisting reaching pulling pushing kneeling and crouching
- must be able to lift 35 lbs carry 12 lb backpack vacuum as needed
Job Qualifications
- janitorial experience is preferred but not required
- high school or equivalent is preferred but not required
- proficiency in english
- ability to perform physical activities such as walking bending stooping twisting reaching pulling pushing kneeling and crouching
- ability to lift 35 lbs and carry a 12 lb backpack vacuum as needed
- open availability for overtime schedule adjustments and holiday work
- reliable and detail oriented
Job Duties
- cleaning offices lobbies and common areas
- cleaning and restocking restrooms
- empty trash cans around the property and replace trash bags
- cleaning corridors and stairwells
- removing trash cleaning floors dusting wiping down all surfaces
- vacuuming sweeping and mopping
- operating walk-behind floor cleaning machines if applicable
- clean and polish furniture windows doors frames ashtrays and fixtures
- perform end of shift inspections eos following company guidelines ensuring cleanliness and safety standards are met at the end of each shift
- perform miscellaneous duties as assigned
- restock supplies in bathrooms break rooms and common areas
- maintain janitor closet and janitorial equipment in a clean safe and operable condition
