The Facilities Porter I is a key role responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and upkeep of dining rooms and their surrounding areas to ensure a welcoming and satisfactory experience for customers. This is an hourly position with a compensation rate set at $17.00 per hour. The role plays an essential part in enhancing customer satisfaction at the account by ensuring that dining areas are clean, orderly, and well-stocked. Duties include wiping down tables and chairs after guest use, refilling condiment dispensers and paper goods such as straws and napkins, sweeping and mopping floors, operating specialized cleaning equipment like vacuums, and moving furniture as needed. Additionally, the Facilities Porter I supports the supervisor in various tasks to maintain smooth operation within the dining environment.

This role requires physical stamina, as the employee must stand for their entire shift and perform duties such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended walking. The position also requires adherence to safety protocols, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safe handling of cleaning chemicals. While performing these essential functions, the Facilities Porter I contributes significantly to Aramark's mission of service excellence and community engagement.
