Job Requirements

Must have reliable transportation
Less than high school education or equivalent experience
Ability to read and comprehend basic instructions
Ability to write clearly and communicate simply
Effective communication skills
Basic math skills
Knowledge of measurements and money handling
Valid driver’s license if using vehicle for work
Proof of vehicle registration and insurance if driving
Bilingual skills favorable but not mandatory

Job Qualifications

Reliable transportation
Less than high school education or up to one-month related experience or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
Ability to read two to three syllable words and recognize similarities and differences between words and numbers
Ability to print clearly and speak simple sentences
Effective communication skills with co-workers, supervisors, managers, and customers
Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division with 10’s and 100’s
Knowledge of American measures of money, weight, size, length, shapes, and volume measurements
Valid driver’s license required if driving a vehicle on business time with proof of vehicle registration and insurance
Bilingual ability is a plus but not required

Job Duties

Perform floor care including vacuuming, mopping, and carpet spotting
Conduct surface care such as dusting, sanitizing, and cleaning glass, mirrors, windows, and polishing metal and wood
Remove waste by emptying trash and recycle bins and transporting waste to proper disposal areas
Perform light maintenance including replacing light bulbs and restocking supplies
Comply with safety rules, policies, and procedures and stop risky behavior
Follow all company protocols, procedures, policies, and rules
Take direction and respond to supervision
Use proper personal protective equipment
Present a professional appearance and conduct
Understand and utilize reporting systems
Transport and arrange equipment and furniture
Clean and maintain common areas, restrooms, break rooms, and elevators
Assist janitorial staff with restocking and cleaning tasks
Spot clean upholstered furniture and carpets
Dust open common spaces
