CCS Facility Services not only focuses on maintaining cleanliness and functionality in client buildings but also invests seriously in the growth and development of its workforce, advancing employees from within to nurture their professional journey and align with company goals.

The Day Porter role at CCS Facility Services is integral to maintaining the cleanliness and orderly condition of common areas within office buildings, apartment complexes, or other commercial or institutional facilities. The position is designed for individuals passionate about customer service and eager to contribute to creating a clean, welcoming atmosphere that enhances the overall tenant and visitor experience. This role involves a range of essential duties such as spot cleaning of lobby glass doors, polishing chrome fixtures, vacuuming and dusting various areas including elevator cabs and lobby floors, inspecting and picking up exterior trash, and ensuring restrooms are checked and maintained twice daily. Additionally, the Day Porter is responsible for reporting maintenance issues like burnt-out lights and addressing any security concerns such as unwanted solicitors, thereby supporting the building management team effectively.

A key aspect of the Day Porter position lies in attention to detail and consistency in performing tasks that uphold both aesthetic and safety standards across the property. This includes sweeping stairwells, removing debris from landscaped areas, and ensuring outdoor ashtrays and trash receptacles are clean and emptied regularly. The role also requires cooperation with building engineers and adherence to safety protocols, as employees may occasionally be exposed to mechanical parts, chemicals, and outdoor weather conditions. The work environment tends to be moderate in noise, with reasonable accommodations made for individuals with disabilities to perform essential duties.

Employees in this role are recognized as vital members of the CCS community, supported by a corporate culture that values punctuality, dependability, responsibility, and safety. With a commitment to providing an exceptional experience for both employees and customers, CCS Facility Services offers a fulfilling work atmosphere where personnel can thrive.
