Founded with a commitment to high-quality service and customer satisfaction, LOT Management now oversees a diverse portfolio that spans over 100 million square feet of property space. Their dedication to maintaining clean, safe, and attractive environments has made them one of the leading companies in property maintenance across multiple regions.
As a company, LOT Management prides itself on fostering a supportive and engaging workplace culture where employees can thrive. They emphasize diversity and inclusion, allowing team members the opportunity and freedom to express their individuality while working together towards common goals. The company offers competitive pay, advancement opportunities, and benefits to help employees grow both professionally and personally.
The position of Part-Time Day Porter at LOT Management entails supporting the cleanliness and maintenance of properties, specifically at their location on 10511-10543 4S Commons Dr., San Diego, CA. This role works on weekends from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm, offering a flexible schedule suitable for those seeking part-time employment. The pay rate is $17.25 per hour, with weekly pay processed, which makes it an attractive role for candidates looking for steady supplemental income.
A Day Porter plays a critical role in ensuring that properties remain appealing and in tip-top condition through various janitorial duties. These tasks include picking up trash, emptying waste receptacles, sweeping, mopping, dusting, cleaning restrooms, and maintaining pristine exterior surfaces such as windows and doors. The position demands physical activity including walking the property to inspect areas regularly, removing debris such as gum or graffiti, and sometimes handling moderate lifting of items weighing up to 50 pounds.
The ideal Day Porter is detail-oriented, punctual, and dependable with the ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively. Previous janitorial or cleaning experience is preferred to ensure familiarity with cleaning techniques and safety standards. LOT Management requires its Day Porters to adhere strictly to safety protocols, using appropriate personal protective equipment for each task to maintain workplace safety and compliance.
This role is suitable for someone who is comfortable with physical activity including standing for extended periods, bending, stooping, climbing stairs, and using their hands extensively throughout the day. The company supports its employees with benefits such as 401(k) company matching and direct deposit for convenience. They actively participate in E-Verify to confirm employment eligibility, reinforcing their commitment to lawful hiring practices.
In addition to providing competitive compensation and benefits, LOT Management is an equal opportunity employer dedicated to hiring individuals regardless of race, religion, color, sex, national origin, disability, veteran status, or other protected characteristics. They conduct pre-employment background checks, drug screenings, and physical endurance tests to ensure each candidate is suited for the role's demands.
Overall, working as a Part-Time Day Porter at LOT Management offers a stable and rewarding opportunity for those seeking to contribute to maintaining quality environments within a reputable and growing company. The role suits candidates who enjoy active work, take pride in cleanliness and upkeep, and wish to join a company committed to diversity and employee development.
