Job Requirements
- Background checks will be conducted in accordance with applicable law
Job Qualifications
- Previous janitorial or custodial experience, preferably in a medical or healthcare setting
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques and use of cleaning equipment
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain cleanliness standards
- Understanding of infection control practices and the importance of maintaining a sanitary environment
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team
- Physical stamina to perform tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Flexibility to work during both day and evening shifts as required
Job Duties
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, and dusting of all common areas, lobbies, waiting rooms, hallways, and restrooms
- Disinfect and sanitize high-touch surfaces such as doorknobs, handrails, light switches, and elevator buttons
- Empty and properly dispose of trash and medical waste according to established guidelines, including outside and around the building
- Refill dispensers for soap, paper towels, and toilet paper as needed
- Monitor and maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify the supervisor when supplies need to be reordered
- Assist with setting up and cleaning meeting rooms and event spaces as necessary
- Collaborate with maintenance and facility teams to address any issues related to building cleanliness and safety
- Report any maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate personnel
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures including proper handling of cleaning chemicals
- Perform other tasks and projects requested by the customer and/or Advanced, Inc team
