Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in janitorial or cleaning services preferred
- Strong English communication skills
- Dependable and punctual
- Ability to work flexible hours including long shifts if necessary
- Must be able to perform physical tasks associated with the job
- Willingness to adhere to safety standards and security protocols
Job Qualifications
- Strong English-speaking skills (minimum 80% proficiency)
- Ability to follow instructions and respond to management direction
- Commitment to punctuality and reliable attendance
- Capability to take responsibility for own actions and keep commitments
- Experience in janitorial or facility maintenance roles preferred
- Basic understanding of safety and security procedures
- Physical ability to perform the duties including lifting, sweeping, and standing for long periods
Job Duties
- Spot clean the lobby glass doors
- Polish chrome on lobby doors
- Vacuum elevator cabs and wipe cab doors, walls, and tops twice a day
- Inspect the building exterior and pick up any trash
- Clean ashtrays and sand urns on every floor
- Empty and clean exterior trash receptacles
- Check restrooms twice daily
- Vacuum lobby once a day or as needed
- Sweep stairwells and landings as needed
- Remove all debris from landscaped areas as needed
- Sweep building entrances
- Clean and remove smudges and marks on walls, doors, and wall covering
- Report any lights out to the Management Office
- Report any solicitors to the Management Office
- Police lobby to keep floors and planters free of paper and debris
- Empty all trash receptacles
- Vacuum carpeted floors
- Dust mop lobby floors twice daily
- Polish elevator cab railings and doors and main lobby call buttons
- Assist building engineer daily per management discretion
