Day Porter (Downtown Museum)

We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Day Porter to join our team. This role is essential to maintaining the cleanliness and readiness of our facility, ensuring that it remains a top-notch venue both indoors and outdoors. As a Day Porter, you will be involved in a variety of tasks, including cleaning, event setup and breakdown, and general facility support within a fast-paced and dynamic museum environment. Your efforts will play a vital role in creating an excellent visitor experience by keeping our spaces pristine and well-organized. The position follows a specific schedule from Thursday through Monday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, with Tuesdays and Wednesdays off, making it ideal for those who thrive in a structured routine. This position requires someone with a hands-on approach and physical stamina to perform duties that range from moving furniture during event setups to operating power washing equipment and assisting with snow removal during the winter months. Effective communication via radio is also a key component of the role to ensure coordinated facility management and response.
