The Day Porter position within the Contract Services Group is an essential role focused on maintaining the cleanliness and order of all public areas across their client facilities. This role is available as either part-time or full-time, with a non-exempt status and an hourly wage ranging from $16.90 to $17.90. Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, the individual in this role is responsible for ensuring that public spaces are kept tidy and welcoming, thereby promoting a positive and professional image to guests and visitors.

As a Day Porter, candidates will take pride in their work by performing routine cleaning, upkeep of equipment, and addressing any maintenance or safety needs within the public areas. Responsibilities include operating janitorial tools and equipment, handling cleaning chemicals safely, and performing deep cleaning projects as required. Further, the role requires proactive guest assistance when needed, appropriate caution signage posting, and reporting any injuries, damages, or missing items promptly to supervisory staff.

The role demands physical stamina and the ability to work in various environmental conditions, both indoors and outdoors. Candidates must be able to stand for extended periods, lift objects up to 50 pounds, and be flexible in working weekends or holidays. Safety is a priority; thus, adherence to using personal protective equipment and following cleaning best practices is mandatory.
