Job Requirements
- Must successfully pass a criminal background check
Job Qualifications
- Minimum six months of janitorial or custodial experience preferred
- knowledge of standard cleaning methods and procedures
- ability to stand, walk, and bend for long periods
- ability to lift up to 25 pounds
- experience using cleaning equipment such as vacuums and floor buffers
- basic understanding of cleaning chemicals and safety guidelines
- good communication and teamwork skills
- flexibility to work variable hours and respond to call-ins as needed
Job Duties
- Collect and empty trash cans
- dust all surfaces including walls, furniture, and equipment
- clean and restock restrooms
- follow established cleaning procedures
- sweep, mop, scrub, and vacuum floors
- perform routine maintenance activities
- clean and polish fixtures and furniture
- follow safety procedures for using cleaning chemicals and equipment
- notify management of needed repairs or maintenance
- perform any other duties as assigned by the manager or supervisor
