Job Requirements
- physically able to be on your feet during an entire shift
- able to walk, bend, stoop, twist, reach, pull, push, kneel, and crouch
- able to lift 35 lbs and carry 12 lb backpack vacuum as needed
- must be 18 years of age
- must provide proof of u.s. citizenship or permanent residency
- must provide proof of work authorization and complete an i-9 and e-verify process
- must complete pre-employment background check if applicable
- must complete pre-employment drug screen if applicable
- must complete pre-employment motor vehicle record check if applicable
- open availability for overtime work, schedule adjustments, and holiday work
- reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions
Job Qualifications
- high school or equivalent is preferred but not required
- janitorial experience is preferred but not required
- proficiency in english is beneficial
- ability to follow instructions and complete tasks as assigned
- good communication skills to interact with team and supervisors
Job Duties
- cleaning offices, lobbies, and common areas
- cleaning and restocking restrooms
- empty trash cans around the property and replace trash bags
- cleaning corridors and stairwells
- removing trash, cleaning floors, dusting/wiping down all surfaces
- vacuuming, sweeping and mopping
- operating walk-behind floor cleaning machines if applicable
- cleans and polishes furniture, windows, doors, frames, ashtrays, and fixtures
- perform end of shift inspections following company guidelines, ensuring cleanliness and safety standards are met at the end of each shift
- miscellaneous duties as assigned
- restocking supplies in bathrooms, break rooms, and common areas
- maintain janitor closet and janitorial equipment in a clean, safe, and operable condition
- proficiency in english will enhance your ability to collaborate and communicate with colleagues and clients, ensuring smooth operations
