The Custodian/CSR role is an essential position responsible for maintaining cleanliness and upkeep of various facilities while providing excellent service to customers and coworkers alike. The ideal candidate is dependable, has strong customer service skills, and is capable of working both independently and cooperatively within a team. They must understand and follow detailed instructions, both oral and written, and demonstrate good judgment in decision-making and day-to-day activities. Custodians may also be tasked with transporting equipment and supplies, cleaning event spaces, assisting janitorial staff with supply restocking, and maintaining common areas such as restrooms, break rooms, elevators, and lobbies. Communication is key in this role as Custodians/CSRs will interact with supervisors, managers, and customers, necessitating the ability to communicate clearly and effectively. The position requires the ability to read and understand simple words and instructions, basic mathematical skills, and, if applicable, possessing a valid driver's license with proof of vehicle registration and insurance for any company or business-related vehicle use.
