The role of Day Porter with SBM is a vital position focused on maintaining cleanliness and sanitation within assigned areas throughout the day shift. This position is full-time, with working hours from Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, and offers a competitive hourly wage ranging from $17.50 to $18.00. The Day Porter is responsible for performing various janitorial duties, operating motorized cleaning equipment, and following daily schedules to ensure that the property is clean, safe, and well-maintained. This role requires individuals to work both independently and as part of a team, communicating professionally with supervisors, managers, and customers. The successful candidate must be attentive to safety procedures, able to handle physical tasks, and committed to delivering high-quality customer service through consistent upkeep and hazard reporting. While no specific educational requirements are mandated, relevant experience or training in janitorial or cleaning tasks is preferred, along with safety and task training certifications. Driver's license and forklift certification may be required.
