Additionally, the Custodian/CSR is expected to support event setups by transporting equipment and ensuring event spaces remain orderly. Candidates will also assist in training new staff and support janitorial staff with restrooms and break rooms. Job Requirements
- Reliable transportation
- Less than high school education or up to one-month related experience or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to read two- to three-syllable words and recognize similarities and differences between words and series of numbers
- Ability to print clearly and speak simple sentences
- Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers, supervisors, managers, and customers
- Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and multiply and divide with tens and hundreds
- Knowledge of American measures of money, weight, size, length, shapes, distance and measurements such as cups, pints, quarts, gallons etc.
- Valid driver's license if operating vehicle on company business, with proof of vehicle registration and insurance
- Bilingual is a plus

Job Duties
- Perform floor care including vacuuming, mopping, and carpet spotting
- Conduct surface care such as dusting, sanitizing, and cleaning glass, mirrors, windows, and polishing metal/wood surfaces
- Remove waste including emptying trash and recycling bins and transporting waste to appropriate disposal areas
- Perform light maintenance tasks like replacing light bulbs and restocking supply cabinets/rooms
- Comply with all safety rules, policies, and procedures, including use of personal protective equipment
- Follow all company protocols, procedures, and take direction from supervision
- Maintain professional appearance and conduct while interacting with co-workers and customers
- Assist in training new staff and demonstrate work processes
- Clean and organize janitorial closets and storage areas, restock restrooms and break rooms, clean elevators, and spot clean furniture and carpets
- Transport equipment, tools, chairs, and tables and straighten common areas such as lobbies and conference rooms
- Perform additional duties including restroom cleaning, glass cleaning, damp mopping floors, and trash/recycling management during event setups and breaks
