  • ability to read two to three syllable words and recognize similarities and differences
  • ability to print clearly and speak simple sentences
  • ability to communicate effectively with co-workers supervisors managers and customers
  • basic math skills including addition subtraction multiplication and division with tens and hundreds
  • knowledge of American measures of money weight size length and common volume measures
  • valid driver’s license if driving own or company vehicle
  • proof of vehicle registration and insurance if driving own or company vehicle
  • bilingual is a plus not required

Job Duties

  • floor care including vacuuming and mopping
  • surface care such as dusting sanitizing and window cleaning
  • waste removal including emptying trash and recycling bins
  • light maintenance tasks like replacing light bulbs and restocking supplies
  • comply with safety rules policies and procedures
  • present a professional appearance and conduct
  • assist janitorial staff with cleaning and restocking break rooms and restrooms
