SBM Management Services, LP is a reputable company dedicated to delivering exceptional property management and custodial services. Known for its innovative employee programs and supportive management structure, SBM stands out in the service industry by fostering an environment where teamwork, integrity, and compassion are at the core of the company culture. As the company continues to grow, SBM continues to maintain an impressively low employee turnover rate, which is one-fourth the national average, reflecting its commitment to the professional and personal growth of its employees. SBM Management is recognized for its dedication to equal employment opportunities, embracing diversity and inclusivity in hiring practices, and supporting employees from all backgrounds. The company values the balance between personal satisfaction and professional achievement, making it an excellent workplace for those seeking long-term career advancement in the custodial and property management field.
SBM Management is currently seeking a hardworking and dependable Custodian/Customer Service Representative (CSR) to join their team. This position plays a vital role in maintaining cleanliness and safety on properties while delivering superior customer service. Custodial staff at SBM contribute significantly to creating a welcoming environment by handling diverse tasks such as floor care, surface cleaning, waste removal, and light maintenance — all while upholding safety standards and company protocols. This role requires strong interpersonal skills to effectively interact with co-workers, supervisors, and customers, ensuring a positive and professional experience for all. Working as a Custodian/CSR offers more than just basic cleaning responsibilities; it involves teamwork, communication, and the ability to follow detailed instructions and safety policies meticulously. The position is Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM, offering an hourly compensation ranging from $14.70 to $15.50 per hour.
Employees in this role benefit from SBM's focus on career advancement opportunities and the company’s commitment to rewarding dedication and hard work. The job calls for individuals who can exhibit good judgment, assist with training, explain work methods, and contribute to a clean, organized environment. Custodians will be responsible for various duties including vacuuming, mopping, dusting, recycling, light maintenance tasks such as restocking supplies and replacing light bulbs, and ensuring restrooms and break rooms remain sanitized and well-stocked. Through these efforts, custodians ensure that common areas, event spaces, and office environments are not only clean but safe and presentable. The position also emphasizes the importance of using personal protective equipment and adhering to safety regulations consistently.
SBM encourages candidates with a strong work ethic, reliable transportation, and good communication skills to apply. While a high school diploma is not strictly required, equivalent experience or training is acceptable, and bilingual skills are considered a plus. The successful candidate will have the chance to join a team that values employee satisfaction and fosters a culture of mutual respect and cooperation, making SBM Management Services an excellent company for individuals seeking a meaningful and steady career in custodial work and customer service.
