- ability to read two-three syllable words
- ability to recognize similarities and differences between words and series of numbers
- ability to print clearly and speak simple sentences
- ability to communicate effectively with coworkers, supervisors, managers, and customers
- ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and multiply and divide with tens and hundreds
- knowledge of American measures of money, weight, size, length, shapes, distance and measurement units
- valid driver’s license with proof of vehicle registration and insurance if driving on company business
- bilingual is a plus but not required
Job Qualifications

- knowledge of American measures of money, weight, size, length, shapes, distance and measurement units such as cups, pints, quarts, gallons
- valid driver’s license if operating a vehicle on company business
- proof of vehicle registration and insurance if driving own vehicle
- bilingual skills are a plus but not required
Job Duties
- perform floor care including vacuuming, mopping, and carpet spotting
- carry out surface care such as dusting, sanitizing, cleaning glass, mirrors, windows, metal and wood polishing, and cleaning blinds and draperies
- remove waste by emptying trash and recycling bins and transporting to proper disposal areas
- conduct light maintenance tasks including replacing light bulbs and restocking supply cabinets and rooms
- comply with safety rules, policies, and procedures
- follow all company protocols, policies, and rules
- take direction and respond to supervision
- use proper personal protective equipment
- maintain a professional appearance and conduct
- understand and use reporting systems
- transport equipment, tools, chairs, and tables and straighten areas such as lobbies and conference rooms
- clean desktops between events, assist janitorial staff with restocking restrooms and break rooms
- perform restroom cleaning and glass cleaning
- restock and organize janitorial supplies
- clean elevators
- spot clean upholstered furniture and carpets
- dust open common spaces
