The Day Porter position at Valor plays a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of the campus, which directly supports the school's mission by creating a welcoming and healthy environment for faculty and students alike. This full-time role is hourly paid and requires an individual who can efficiently manage cleaning and restocking classrooms and common spaces including the faculty commons, cafeteria, the front office, and all restrooms. In addition to regular cleaning duties, the Day Porter is responsible for maintaining an organized and stocked supply closet, promptly attending to spot cleaning and spill management, and routinely collecting and disposing of trash around campus.
