Job Requirements
- must have reliable transportation
- less than high school education or up to one month related experience or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- ability to read and write simple sentences
- ability to communicate effectively with others
- basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
- knowledge of American standard measurements
- valid driver's license and proof of vehicle registration and insurance if driving
- willingness to follow safety protocols
- ability to work with a team
- ability to present a professional appearance
- willingness to use personal protective equipment
Job Qualifications
- must have reliable transportation
- less than high school education or up to one month related experience or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- ability to read 2-3 syllable words and recognize similarities and differences between words and series of numbers
- ability to print clearly and speak simple sentences
- ability to communicate effectively with co-workers, supervisors, managers, and customers
- knowledge of basic arithmetic including adding and subtracting two-digit numbers and multiplying and dividing by 10s and 100s
- understanding of American measures of money, weight, size, length, shapes, and volume
- valid driver's license if driving vehicle on business time along with proof of vehicle registration and insurance
- bilingual is a plus but not required
Job Duties
- floor care including vacuuming,mopping,and carpet spotting
- surface care such as dusting,sanitizing,glass and mirror cleaning,metal and wood polishing,cleaning blinds and draperies
- waste removal including emptying trash and recycle bins and transporting waste to disposal areas
- light maintenance tasks like replacing light bulbs and restocking supply cabinets
- comply with safety rules, policies, and procedures
- follow all company protocols and procedures
- take direction and respond to supervision appropriately
- use proper personal protective equipment
- present a professional appearance and conduct
- understand and utilize reporting systems
- transport small equipment, tools,chairs,and tables,and straighten areas such as lobbies and conference rooms
- assist janitorial staff with restroom and break room maintenance
- perform spot cleaning of upholstered furniture and carpets
- clean elevators and maintain open common spaces
