The role of General Cleaner/Day Porter at Pritchard Industries is a critical position designed to maintain the cleanliness and sanitation of client facilities. This full-time position offers a competitive hourly wage of $17.00 and requires the individual to work an 8-hour shift with varying schedules between 8am - 4pm or 2pm - 10pm, including some night shifts. The General Cleaner/Day Porter will be responsible for performing a broad range of cleaning tasks that keep the environment neat, healthy, and safe. These duties include vacuuming, mopping, sweeping floors, trash removal, cleaning restrooms and break rooms, as well as other miscellaneous responsibilities that contribute to the overall upkeep of the building.

Ideal candidates for this role possess a professional attitude and appearance, combined with self-motivation, dependability, and a strong work ethic. While prior cleaning experience is beneficial, Pritchard Industries is willing to provide training for motivated candidates, including those without janitorial experience. The ability to follow instructions carefully and efficiently is essential, as is the capability to lift at least 50 pounds to manage certain cleaning equipment or materials.
