Job Requirements

Valid driver’s license if driving own or company vehicle
Proof of vehicle registration and insurance if driving
Ability to read and write basic sentences
Ability to communicate effectively
Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
Knowledge of American measurement units
Less than high school education or relevant equivalent training
Reliable transportation
Ability to follow oral and written instructions
Ability to maintain professional appearance and conduct
Ability to adhere to safety protocols
Ability to work cooperatively with team members

Job Qualifications

Must have reliable transportation
Less than high school education or up to one-month related experience or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
Ability to read 2-3 syllable words, recognize similarities and differences between words and series of numbers
Ability to print clearly and speak simple sentences
Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers, supervisors, managers, and customers
Know how to add and subtract two-digit numbers and multiply and divide with 10s and 100s
Knowledge of American measures of money, weight, size, length, shapes, and volume
Required to have a valid driver’s license if driving own vehicle or company vehicle on business time with proof of vehicle registration and insurance
Bilingual is a plus but not required

Job Duties

Floor care including vacuuming, mopping, and carpet spotting
Surface care such as dusting, sanitizing, glass/mirror/window cleaning, metal/wood polishing, and cleaning blinds and draperies
Waste removal including emptying trash and recycle bins and transporting trash and waste to proper disposal areas
Light maintenance tasks like replacing light bulbs and restocking supply cabinets/rooms
Complying with safety rules, policies, and procedures and preventing risk behaviors
Following all company protocols, procedures, policies, and rules
Taking direction and responding to supervision
Using proper personal protective equipment
Presenting a professional appearance and conduct
Understanding reporting systems and the work environment
Transporting small equipment, tools, chairs, and tables and straightening areas such as lobbies and conference rooms
Cleaning drop-in desktops in between events
Assisting janitorial staff with restocking restrooms and break rooms
Damp mopping floors, restroom cleaning, and glass cleaning
Restocking and organizing supplies in janitorial closets and storage areas
Cleaning elevators and spot-cleaning upholstered furniture and carpets
Dusting open common spaces
