Job Requirements

Reliable transportation
Less than high school education or equivalent experience
Ability to read and comprehend simple words and numbers
Ability to communicate clearly
Basic math skills
Knowledge of measurement units
Valid driver’s license with vehicle registration and insurance if driving
Willingness to work full-time on Monday-Friday 7:30 am to 4:00 pm schedule

Job Qualifications

Must have reliable transportation
Less than high school education or up to one-month related experience or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
Ability to read 2-3 syllable words and recognize similarities and differences between words and series of numbers
Ability to print clearly and speak simple sentences
Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers, supervisors, managers, and customers
Basic math skills including adding and subtracting two-digit numbers and multiplying/dividing with 10's and 100's
Knowledge of American measures of money, weight, size, length, shapes, distance, and common liquid measures
Required to have a valid driver's license with vehicle registration and insurance if driving own or company vehicle on business time
Bilingual skills are a plus but not required

Job Duties

Floor care including vacuuming, mopping, carpet spotting
Surface care such as dusting, sanitizing, glass, mirror, and window cleaning, metal and wood polishing, cleaning blinds and draperies
Waste removal including emptying trash and recycle bins, transporting waste to disposal areas
Light maintenance tasks like replacing light bulbs and restocking supply cabinets or rooms
Complying with safety rules, policies, and procedures, preventing risky behavior
Following all company protocols, procedures, policies, and rules
Taking direction and responding to supervision
Using proper personal protective equipment
Presenting a professional appearance and conduct
Understanding reporting systems and workplace environment
Transporting small equipment, tools, chairs, and tables, straightening areas
Cleaning desktops between events and assisting janitorial staff with restocking restrooms and break rooms
Performing restroom cleaning, glass cleaning, and spot cleaning upholstered furniture and carpets
Dusting open common spaces
