Job Requirements

Must have reliable transportation
less than high school education or up to one-month related experience or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
ability to read two to three syllable words, recognize similarities and differences between words and numbers
ability to print clearly and speak simple sentences
effective communication skills with co-workers and customers
basic arithmetic skills including adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing
knowledge of American money, weights, sizes, measures, and distances
valid driver’s license if driving own or company vehicle with proof of registration and insurance
bilingual is a plus but not mandatory

Job Duties

Floor care including vacuuming, mopping, and carpet spotting
surface care such as dusting, sanitizing, glass and mirror cleaning, and polishing
waste removal including emptying trash and recycling bins and transporting waste to proper disposal areas
light maintenance like replacing light bulbs and restocking supply cabinets
complying with safety rules and company policies
following all protocols, procedures, and directions from supervisors
using proper personal protective equipment
presenting a professional appearance and conduct
understanding reporting systems and workplace environment
transporting small equipment and cleaning event areas
assisting janitorial staff with restocking and cleaning tasks
