Job Requirements

Be authorized to work in the U.S.
Have reliable transportation
Have less than high school education or relevant experience up to one month or equivalent combination of education and experience
Ability to read 2-3 syllable words, recognize similarities and differences between words and series of numbers
Ability to print clearly and speak simple sentences
Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers, supervisors, managers, and customers
Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and multiply and divide with tens and hundreds
Know American measures of money, weight, size, length, and shapes
Possess a valid driver’s license and proof of vehicle registration and insurance if driving own or company vehicle
Bilingual is a plus, not required

Bilingual skills are a plus but not required

Job Duties

Perform floor care including vacuuming, mopping, and carpet spotting
Handle surface care such as dusting, sanitizing, cleaning glass, mirrors, windows, and polishing metal and wood surfaces
Remove waste by emptying trash and recycle bins and transporting waste to proper disposal areas
Conduct light maintenance tasks including replacing light bulbs and restocking supply cabinets or rooms
Comply with safety rules, policies, and procedures and stop at-risk behavior of self and others
Follow all company protocols, procedures, policies, and rules
Take direction and respond to supervision
Use proper personal protective equipment
Present a professional appearance and conduct
Understand reporting systems and the environment
Transport small equipment like tools, chairs, and tables
straighten areas including lobbies and conference rooms
Perform light vacuuming, dusting, restocking supplies
Clean drop-in desktops between events
Assist janitorial staff with restocking restrooms and break rooms
Damp mop floors
Clean restrooms and glass surfaces
Restock and organize supplies in janitorial closets and storage areas
Clean elevators
Spot clean upholstered furniture and carpets
dust open common spaces
