Job Requirements

Less than high school education or equivalent
Up to one-month related experience or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
Must have reliable transportation
Ability to read and recognize words and numbers
Ability to print clearly
Ability to speak simple sentences
Ability to communicate effectively
Basic math skills
Knowledge of American measurements
Valid driver's license if driving
Proof of vehicle registration and insurance
Ability to follow instructions
Ability to work in a team
Ability to use personal protective equipment

Job Qualifications

Less than high school education or up to one-month related experience or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
Must have reliable transportation
Ability to read 2-3 syllable words and recognize similarities and differences between words and series of numbers
Ability to print clearly and speak simple sentences
Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers, supervisors, managers, and customers
Knowledge of basic arithmetic operations such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division with tens and hundreds
Knowledge of American measurements of money, weight, size, length, shapes, distance and liquid measures such as cups, pints, quarts, and gallons
Valid driver's license required if driving own or company vehicle
Proof of vehicle registration and insurance required
Bilingual skills are a plus but not required

Job Duties

Perform floor care including vacuuming, mopping, and carpet spotting
Provide surface care such as dusting, sanitizing, cleaning glass/mirrors/windows, polishing metal and wood surfaces, and cleaning blinds and draperies
Remove waste by emptying trash and recycle bins and transporting waste to disposal areas
Conduct light maintenance including replacing light bulbs and restocking supply cabinets and rooms
Comply with safety rules, policies, and procedures and prevent risky behavior
Follow all company protocols, procedures, policies, and rules
Take direction and respond to supervision
Use personal protective equipment properly
Maintain a professional appearance and conduct
Understand and operate reporting systems relevant to the environment
Transport small equipment and furniture
Clean areas between events, assist janitorial staff with restocking restrooms and break rooms, clean elevators and common areas, and perform spot cleaning on furniture and carpets
