Job Requirements

  • Authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Reliable transportation

  • Less than high school education or equivalent experience and training

Job Qualifications

  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Must have reliable transportation
  • Less than high school education or up to one-month related experience or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Ability to read 2-3 syllable words, recognize similarities and differences between words and series of numbers
  • Ability to print clearly and speak simple sentences
  • Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers, supervisors, managers, and customers
  • Knowledge of basic arithmetic including adding and subtracting two-digit numbers and multiplying and dividing by 10s and 100s
  • Understanding of American measures of money, weight, size, length, shapes, distance and units such as cups, pints, quarts, and gallons
  • Required to have a valid driver’s license if driving own vehicle or company vehicle during work hours, including proof of vehicle registration and insurance
  • Bilingual abilities are a plus but not required

Job Duties

  • Floor care including vacuuming, mopping, carpet spotting
  • Surface care such as dusting, sanitizing, glass, mirror, window cleaning, metal and wood polishing, cleaning blinds and draperies
  • Waste removal including emptying trash and recycle bins, transporting trash and waste to proper disposal areas
  • Light maintenance tasks like replacing light bulbs, restocking supply cabinet and rooms
  • Complying with safety rules, policies, and procedures, stopping at-risk behavior of self and others
  • Following all protocols, company procedures, policies, and rules
  • Taking direction and responding to supervision
  • Using proper personal protective equipment
  • Presenting a professional appearance and conduct
  • Understanding reporting systems and environmental awareness
  • Transporting small equipment, tools, chairs and tables, straightening areas such as lobbies and conference rooms, picking up trash, recycling, and compost bins and transporting to proper disposal areas
  • Performing light vacuuming, dusting, restocking supplies
  • Cleaning drop-in desktops between events, assisting janitorial staff with restocking restrooms and break rooms, damp mopping floors, restroom cleaning, glass cleaning, restocking and organizing supplies in janitorial closets and storage areas, cleaning elevators, spot cleaning upholstered furniture and carpets, and dusting open common spaces
