Job Requirements
- less than high school education or up to one-month related experience or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- must have reliable transportation
- ability to read 2-3 syllable words
- ability to print clearly and speak simple sentences
- ability to communicate effectively with co-workers supervisors managers and customers
- know how to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10s and 100s
- know the American measures of money weight size length shapes distance and measurements such as cups pints quarts and gallons
- required to have a valid driver’s license if driving own or company vehicle during business with proof of vehicle registration and insurance

Job Duties
- perform floor care including vacuuming mopping and carpet spotting
- execute surface care tasks such as dusting sanitizing glass mirror window cleaning metal and wood polishing and cleaning blinds and draperies
- remove waste by emptying trash and recycle bins and transporting waste to proper disposal areas
- conduct light maintenance including replacing light bulbs and restocking supply cabinets or rooms
- comply with safety rules policies and procedures and stop at risk behaviors
- follow all company protocols procedures policies and rules
- take direction and respond to supervision
- use proper personal protective equipment
- present a professional appearance and conduct
- understand reporting systems and the work environment
- transport small equipment tools chairs and tables and straighten areas such as lobbies and conference rooms
- pick up trash recycling and compost bins and transport to proper disposal areas
- assist janitorial staff with restocking restrooms and break rooms
- damp mop floors clean restrooms and glass surfaces
- restock and organize supplies in janitorial closets and storage areas
- clean elevators spot clean upholstered furniture and carpets and dust open common spaces
