Job Requirements

  • Partial high school
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred
  • ServSafe or Washington Food Handlers certification required
  • Ability to recognize when a problem has occurred and report it to management
  • Strong sanitation habits
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
  • Good communication skills in English

Job Duties

  • Clean kitchen area throughout the day including sweeping mopping and taking out trash
  • Empty clean and refill all sanitizing buckets according to company procedure
  • Keep all trash cans double-lined and in sanitary condition
  • Record temperatures of all refrigeration equipment and report problems as needed to kitchen management
  • Deliver food orders and cooking supplies from storage to kitchen as requested
  • Assist Kitchen Stewart with stocking and receiving deliveries
  • Assist chefs line cooks and kitchen utility staff as necessary
  • Perform other related duties as directed or required
