Job Requirements

GED or high school diploma preferred but not required
At least three years of relevant work experience
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Reliable, thorough, observant, organized, flexible, and courteous
Ability to use various cleaning tools and equipment
Able to follow oral and written instructions
Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship

Job Qualifications

GED or high school diploma preferred but not required
At least three years of work experience in custodial or related fields
Proven working experience in relevant field
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and remain motivated
Able to take direction and work cooperatively as part of a team
Able to follow and provide both oral and written instructions
Must be reliable, thorough, observant, very organized, flexible, and courteous
Ability to use cleaning tools and equipment including portable backpack-style vacuum cleaners
Requires attention to detail and pride in delivering excellent service

Job Duties

Sweep, mop, wash floors, and other surfaces inside buildings
Use light and heavy commercial floor buffers and shampoo machines including attachments
Vacuum rugs in offices and public areas
Spot clean daily and shampoo rugs when directed
Clean and dust furniture, exhibit cases, pictures, chairs, door trim, light fixtures, and all other horizontal surfaces including periodic high dusting
Wash windowsills, glass in interior doors, partitions, and specified windows
Wash glass and trim at entrance doors, interior/exterior
Wash and spot clean interior walls as appropriate daily
Assist with events as needed
Clean bathrooms and restock paper supplies daily including damp wiping surfaces, emptying waste baskets, servicing soap and toilet paper dispensers, dusting sills, cleaning tile walls, shelves, stall partitions, sweeping, mopping, and scrubbing floors
Monitor possible defects such as clogged urinals and lights out and report to supervisors
Collect building trash and compost daily placing it in approved containers and designated collection areas
Replace liners in waste baskets and trash containers per specifications
