Candidates must be able to handle physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 pounds repeatedly and working safely around hot plates, pots, pans, and sharp utensils. The position requires a good grasp of English for communication and compliance with safety and sanitation procedures, including successfully completing a food safety certification program aligned with state statutes and company requirements.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous experience in a restaurant or cleaning role preferred
  • ability to stand and walk for the entirety of the shift
  • capability to lift up to 50 pounds multiple times per shift
  • must pass a food safety certification program
  • able to follow all safety and sanitation policies
  • basic English understanding and communication skills
  • able to work in environments with high temperatures and damp conditions
  • must demonstrate teamwork skills
  • flexibility to work assigned shifts including evenings and weekends

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Follows all company safety and sanitation policies and procedural training
  • washes and provides clean and sanitized plateware, glassware, silverware, pots, pans, kitchen utensils using Flanigan’s sanitation policies
