Job Requirements
- 3 or more years of experience in physical touch data center support
- Experience working in enterprise data centers or server room environments
- Ability to perform rack, stack, and cable installation tasks
- Experience providing incident support and service request resolution
- Knowledge of fiber and copper patch lead installation
- Availability to work Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM
- Must be able to work onsite at 77 Read Road, Hudson MA
Job Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of combined experience in site support technician or infrastructure technician roles
- At least 3 years of experience working in enterprise data centers
- Proficiency in racking, stacking, and connecting network or server devices
- Experience with structured network cabling including Cat5, Cat5e, Cat6 and fiber optics
- Knowledge of networking concepts such as IP addressing and Layer 2 VLANs
- Familiarity with Ethernet switching hardware and wireless LAN components
- Strong troubleshooting and incident resolution skills
Job Duties
- Provide onsite physical touch data center support
- Perform rack and stack activities for network and server hardware
- Manage cable installation and organization including fiber and copper patch leads
- Collaborate with remote Level 2 and Level 3 teams to resolve incidents and hardware outages
- Assist in configuration support by providing console access to remote teams
- Participate in logistics and asset management tasks
- Test connectivity and functionality after hardware installation and configuration
