The DARE Pool is a distinguished hospitality establishment renowned for its vibrant poolside environment and exceptional guest service. Located within a premier entertainment complex, this venue aims to provide guests with a memorable and enjoyable experience through its attentive service and warm atmosphere. This position available is for a Pool Server, a critical role responsible for ensuring that guests receive fast, friendly, and courteous service. The Pool Server acts as the face of DARE Pool, creating a welcoming and hospitable environment that enhances the overall guest experience. The employment type for this role is full-time or part-time with a competitive hourly wage structured around the hospitality industry's standards.
In this role, the server interacts directly with guests ensuring their satisfaction is consistently met through personalized service. They take beverage orders, assist in preparation, serve drinks promptly, and clear empty glasses efficiently, maintaining both hygiene and service quality. Strong communication skills are essential as the server must liaise closely with bartenders and other team members to coordinate orders and fulfill guests' needs seamlessly. The ability to work at a fast pace in a mentally and physically demanding environment is important, considering the bustling poolside atmosphere that can be crowded and noisy.
Pool Servers are also ambassadors of the brand's reputation, actively promoting casino events and programs while fostering goodwill and positive relations with guests. They are trained in responsible alcohol management, monitoring guest consumption and intervening when necessary to ensure safety and compliance with property guidelines. Additionally, these servers help promote the Caesars Rewards program, encouraging card sign-ups and educating guests about the benefits.
The role demands physical stamina, including the ability to walk significant distances while carrying items, respond to visual and auditory cues, and work in various environmental conditions such as exposure to secondhand smoke, noise, and bright lighting. Prospective candidates should have excellent customer service skills and a fundamental knowledge of cocktails and tray service or the willingness to learn on the job. A high school diploma or GED is required, and servers must be at least 21 years old with the ability to obtain local licensing certifications such as the Bossier ABO Card and Responsible Vendor Certification.

Job Requirements
- Able to respond to visual and auditory cues
- able to lift and carry up to 20 pounds constantly while gripping necessary items (glasses, pens, pads, garnishments, money, etc.)
- able to walk at least 2 miles during shift
- able to bend, stoop, and twist when serving cocktails, standing and walking for periods up to 8 hours
- able to work in areas containing secondhand smoke, high noise levels, and bright lights
- able to work at a fast pace in often crowded/noisy environment
Job Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- high school diploma or GED required
- must be able to obtain Bossier ABO Card and Responsible Vendor Certification
- skilled in basic math in order to count money and present change correctly
- knowledge of guest charge procedures
- must possess excellent customer service and communication skills
- able to work at a fast pace in mentally and physically stressful situations
- knowledgeable of or able to learn tray service, cocktail ingredients
- available to work required schedule which may include nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime
- must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English
Job Duties
- Ensures guest satisfaction at all times
- provides personalized service and uses guest name
- resolves service problems according to Service Recovery guidelines
- serves as ambassador of goodwill while working and at customer and public relations functions
- actively promotes casino events and programs
- works closely with Caesars Rewards to promote new card signups and relay benefits
- provides fast, friendly, professional beverage service to pool guests
- supplements tray with extra product to provide immediate or interim guest satisfaction
- monitors guest consumption of alcohol and intervene as needed according to Responsible Alcohol Management training and property guidelines
- promotes guests' sense of luck on gaming floor by sincerely wishing customers luck and minimizing wait time
- takes drink orders, communicates with bartender utilizing the proper calling order, assists in the preparation of drinks, and presents drinks to guests
- handles money according to departmental procedure
- maintains a general knowledge of alcohol by brand and cocktails by ingredients
- ability to work well with others, including but not limited to, servers, bartenders, bar backs, supervisors, and managers
- maintains a clean and stocked workstation
- clears empty glasses from workstation/area
- services guests according to the company standard sequence of service
