Job Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Possess or be able to obtain a valid ABO card
- Possess or be able to attain a valid Responsible Vendor Server Permit
- Must be able to read, write, speak or understand English
- Ability to grasp lift or move goods weighing up to 200 pounds
- Ability to place items in overhead coolers weighing over 15 pounds
- Ability to use step ladders or stools safely
- Ability to kneel for several minutes for cleaning and stocking
- Ability to stand and walk on various surfaces for more than 8 hours
- Ability to work in walk-in coolers or freezers for 20 minutes or longer
- Willingness to work in smoking and non-smoking environments for 8 hours
- Regular attendance and punctuality
- Ability to work additional hours on short notice
- Follow all local and state liquor laws applicable
- Ability to work varying business schedules
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Knowledge of beverages and ingredients used in bar operations
- Ability to ring up sales according to policy
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to pass a standard mixology certification
- Knowledge of basic math to operate Micros
- Ability to maintain uniform appearance and follow company standards
- Able to work varying schedules
Job Duties
- Maintain cleanliness of bar areas
- Manage and replenish stock for beverage carts
- Remove waste and perform general cleaning duties
- Fill in as bartender when required
- Ensure compliance with all local and state liquor laws
- Promote outstanding guest relations
- Perform opening, running, and closing duties as assigned
