The role of Restaurant Assistant Manager at the Apex, North Carolina location (Store 2724227Q) is a full-time position requiring availability for both days and evenings. This role is vital in supporting the Restaurant Manager by sharing leadership responsibilities and supervision of the restaurant team, especially in the manager’s absence. The Assistant Manager is charged with upholding Circle K’s brand and operational standards by coaching and mentoring team members, ensuring compliance with food safety and quality regulations, and maintaining an inviting and clean environment for guests. The ideal candidate will be a dynamic leader who motivates their team through clear communication and positivity while maintaining a strong focus on financial performance and guest satisfaction. In addition, this role involves administrative duties such as handling cash and inventory controls, managing paperwork, and ensuring operational metrics and safety standards are consistently met.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in restaurant or retail management preferred
- availability to work days and evenings full time
- valid state Driver's License

Job Duties
- Provides excellent guest service in a fast and friendly manner
- coaches and corrects team members
- conducts second interviews for team members and shift leads
- maintains a clean restaurant environment by performing housekeeping duties and assigning shift tasks
- directs team to ensure food items meet brand and health regulations
- cascades relevant information and assists with new product training
- ensures product quality, food safety, and operational standards are met
- monitors cash, sales, and inventory records and completes end-of-shift paperwork
- completes administrative duties including inventory counts and truck orders in manager's absence
- guarantees a safe environment by adhering to laws and safety codes
- completes incident reports timely
- partners with Restaurant Manager to meet financial and operational goals
