Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • no prior industry experience required
  • minimum six months of work experience preferred
  • data entry and keyboard experience required
  • proficiency with Microsoft Office and email applications such as Outlook
  • excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • ability to manage a high volume of work
  • ability to handle time-sensitive tasks
  • ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Coordinate documentation required by US Customs and government agencies for entry of goods into the US
  • provide impeccable customer service
  • obtain correct classification of goods for customs release from various sources
  • perform data entry and processing of import documentation for US Customs submission
  • maintain and update shipment documentation in compliance with record keeping requirements
  • adhere to international importing and exporting regulations
  • collaborate with internal staff, departments, other FedEx operations, and customers to deliver high-level service
  • process agency brokerage shipments
  • handle remote filings
  • ensure compliance with government and organizational policies
  • perform other duties as assigned
