Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- No prior industry experience required
- Minimum six months work experience preferred
- Data entry and keyboard experience required
- Proficiency with MS Office and Outlook
- Experience with office equipment such as phone, fax, photocopier, printer, and scanner
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
- Strong organizational skills
- Strong interpersonal skills

- Ability to handle high volume of work
- Ability to handle time-sensitive tasks
- Ability to work independently with minimum supervision

- Interact with customers, carriers, brokers, government agencies, internal staff, and management of all levels
- Must reside within 50 miles of Los Angeles, CA for hybrid work arrangement
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Coordinate documentation required by U.S. Customs and government agencies for entry of goods into the U.S.
- Provide impeccable customer service
- Obtain correct classification of goods for customs release from various authoritative sources
- Enter data and process import-related documentation for submission to U.S. Customs and participating government agencies
- Maintain and keep shipment documentation current and compliant with record-keeping requirements
- Adhere to all international importing and exporting regulations
- Work closely with internal staff, departments, other FedEx operations, and customers to deliver high service levels
- Process agency brokerage shipments
- Handle remote filings as needed
- Ensure compliance with government and organizational policies
