Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in International Business, Supply Chain, or related field
  • minimum 8 years of experience in customs regulations and brokerage
  • knowledge of U.S. import regulations, tariff classifications, country of origin, and valuation
  • vendor management experience
  • project management and problem-solving skills
  • strong communication and collaboration abilities
  • proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • supervisory experience preferred
  • knowledge of supply chain security programs and duty drawback highly valued

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in International Business, Supply Chain, or related field
  • 8+ years of experience in customs regulations, clearance, and brokerage preferably in the technology industry
  • strong vendor management skills
  • proven track record in process improvements and compliance best practices
  • exceptional problem-solving and project management skills
  • strong communication and presentation abilities
  • proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint)
  • SAP experience a plus
  • experience with supply chain security programs (CTPAT, OEA) and duty drawback
  • supervisory experience including delegation, training, and performance management preferred
  • MS/MBA degree preferred

Job Duties

  • Lead compliance excellence by overseeing customs and trade activities for U.S. and Canadian operations
  • Manage customs brokers and freight forwarders including performance reviews, SOPs, and scorecards
  • Identify and implement operational innovations to improve efficiencies and reduce costs
  • Serve as subject matter expert on trade compliance and provide strategic guidance on regulatory changes
  • Develop, document, and enforce customs policies and procedures covering classification, country of origin, valuation, and recordkeeping
  • Analyze trade data to quantify risks and monitor performance
  • Deliver training on compliance requirements and best practices
  • Collaborate with supply chain, logistics, legal, and business units to align customs operations
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen compliance and streamline processes
